Part XI:
Does He Understand?

Does he Understand Me?

A summer's day, a surprise so sweet,
A hidden message, a tale discreet.
A loaf of bread, an unexpected gift,
Crafted by heart, with an artful lift.

Turning simple elements to magic rare,
Complex, rich, with enduring care.
Telling the story of her loving heart,
Is the Alchemist at play?

A rigorous crust, a shield so grand,
Protecting warmth with a gentle hand.
As a tough Russian exterior may,
Protect a heart that's soft in every way.

A warm heart waiting, someone to find,
An amazing gift, artistically designed.
Not from a baker, but an artist’s hand,
Hoping this man will understand.

Introduction:

One day, Alexandra surprised me with a loaf of bread she had baked herself. I must confess, I had never received such a gift before.

As I savored it, I pondered how the bread embodied her essence. From simple ingredients, she crafted something divine, a creation that mirrored her spirit—perhaps a hidden message.

The tough exterior symbolized the resilient shell she had formed through years of hardship. The warm, soft interior reflected her tender heart and soul. A unique blend of seeds and grains, intricate and subtle, yet profoundly substantial—just like her.

Perhaps in her own way, she was telling me something about herself, something she needed me to learn and see.
